Orient Watch was founded in Tokyo by Shogoro Yoshida, more than a century ago in 1901. Among watch companies in Japan, Orient was ranked third, following behind Seiko and Citizen. What sets Orient apart from other watch companies is the fact that Orient has always been focusing on making its mechanical movements better and more reliable. It is unusual today to find a watch company that makes its own movement selling watches at prices offered by Orient.

For those who aren't too familiar with the Orient watch brand, you may have only heard about the Bambino, Ray, Kano, Mako, Mako USA, Triton, and the Kamasu collection lines. Here at Strapcode, we have designed several custom fitted watch bands specifically for Orient watch models which includes: Mako II, Ray II, Triton, and the Kamasu.

A fun fact that we would like to share is while we were looking for watch bands for a photo-shoot introducing a vintage classic chronograph watch from Orient, WV0041TX, we tested and confirmed that the curved end fitted watch bands for the Orient Mako II & RAY II, can both be used on the Orient Panda WV0041TX watch.
