Around the same time last year just before the start of the summer, Seiko launched a total of 27 New Seiko 5 Sports model watches in one go. This year, another thirteen new models were added to the New Seiko 5 Sports collection.

Of the thirteen New Seiko 5 sports models, seven of them are the same SRPD 43mm case with rotating bezel models that we are familiar with. However, it is the other six new models that are worth mentioning since they have been downsized from 43 mm to 40 mm, along with a new smoothed out bezel instead.

The thirteen new Seiko 5 Sports models can be classified into three sub-categories: “Street”, “Specialist”, and “Suits”.

As shown below the closeup photos on the bezel, the use of same color on the bezel with a sand blast finish, along with the same color font, but with polish finish, really helps to bring out the characters display around the bezel, and it certainly helps to be able to see the minute markers as well, despite the flashy base color from the entire watch.

To those who are familiar with our products, you know how popular the Full IP Gold End mill and Super J Louis model watch bands that we released especially for the new SRP Turtle model watches (SRPC 44). Plans are definitely in process with designing Full IP Gold watch bands for the NEW SRPE74K1.
