Hidden for a Decade - Impressive Original Seiko Watch Bands

We can all agree that Seiko is one of the world’s most innovative watch manufacturers around. Exactly the same goes for their watch bands, which are made of luxurious and qualitative materials. While we can all agree that Seiko is second to none when it comes to watch making, but can we say the same about the bracelets and straps they offer.

When comparing with the original bracelets from Seiko that were made from back in the day, to the original Seiko bracelets that are made today, I can say with certainty that bracelets that were made back in the day were much better not only in terms of quality, materials used, its like the bracelets were made distinctively for a particular type/model of watch. You would find small details about the strap labelled or printed on it that it’s ‘swim-safe’.

Just by picking up the bracelets, by simply feeling the weight of them in my hand, the bracelets feels much heavier and sturdier. Taking a closer look at the bracelets & straps, I find that the finishing and craftsmanship were much more detailed and it certainly gave me the feeling that the bracelets & straps were made to last. You’ll be surprised with little details added here and there, it can make your watch look that much better.

The solid end links, the additional details/information stamped/engraved on the bracelets & straps, shows that more time and effort were used.

Even though the details found on the straps made from back in the day may not be much different, that fact its there simply showed that Seiko actually took their time to apply the details when finishing the straps.
